Abstract:
Modern optimizing compilers can do wonders, exceeding people's expectations. RISC-V is important world-wide. Speeding its simulation is key. We shall introduce the key mechanisms and show how to turn simple concepts into reality and we shall present pitfalls and tradeoffs. We'll begin the talk with an "x-ray" of SSA and LVN.
